![]() Matter of fact, when in High Sierra’s recovery mode, I’m able to see/select it as a boot option but it does not boot from the SSD. The drive is visible in the OS but not at the boot options. Ive also tried, on the working external, I booted in recovery mode and reinstalled High Sierra on the SSD. *This seems like my issue but don’t know how to get around it. ![]() I can’t use internet recovery because it installs Mavericks (in need High Sierra or higher for the SSD to be recognized by the OS). ![]() I’ve used different clone methods to copy the OS to the new SSD. I’ve installed High Sierra on the external bootable drive and installed all updates to the latest.
